ACM Awards Host Reba McEntire Reveals Who She Wants to Perform

Reba McEntire returning to Country Music Awards Academy to once again serve as host — and the country music icon is looking forward to the experience.

McEntire recently sat down with ET’s Rachel Smith, where she expressed her joy at getting the opportunity Host the ACM Awards once again.

Recalling the time when she first hosted the show in 1985, the famous singer shared, “In a way it feels like 100 years, in a way it feels like it just flew by. “

“Sandy Spica loved coming up to me and saying, ‘Here, I’m doing this little sketch, so what do you think?’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God! Can I wear this?'” McEntire recalled. “I was his guinea pig. I guess I was her little paper doll… I would never say, ‘I didn’t like her,’ ’cause I loved everything she did! And she would do completely different things with my hair and I would go for it. it was a blast.”
