AIIMS New Delhi implements 100% digital payment system in cafeteria – ET HealthWorld

New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)Delhi has implemented 100 percent digital payment system In its cafeteria.

Under the guidance of Director Dr. (Prof.) M Srinivas, AIIMS has taken this decision which is in line with the objectives of the institute. streamline transactionsIncrease efficiency, and promote cashless environment In line with the institution’s commitment towards modernization and convenience.

Despite previous instructions, it was observed that digital payments as well as cash transactions were still being done in the AIIMS cafeteria.

In response, the administration reiterated that only digital methods of payment, such as smart cardUPI, credit cards and debit cards will be accepted at all cafeteria counters.

Dr (Professor) M Srinivas emphasized the importance of this change, saying, “The shift to 100 per cent digital payments is an important step towards promoting transparency, security and convenience for our employees, visitors and stakeholders. We urge you to cooperate.” Adopt this new system for more ease cafeteria experience,

Dr. Reema Dada from PIC Media Cell highlighted the progressive approach of AIIMS in embracing technological advancements, “The adoption of a completely digital payment system reflects AIIMS’ progressive approach to embracing technological advancements. This step not only enhances convenience but also contributes to a more secure and efficient payments ecosystem.”
