The fact that the United States and Algeria celebrate their national holidays just one day apart symbolizes the close ties between our two countries. Our shared commitment to freedom and liberty sustains our historic and expanding bilateral relationship. The Biden Administration looks forward to continuing to work with Algeria to increase trade, foster educational exchanges and people-to-people ties, and advance our mutual goals of regional peace and stability.
