Alice Stewart, CNN political commentator and political consultant dead, She was 58 years old.
Stewart’s death was confirmed by the network. According to cnnLaw enforcement officials said Stewart’s body was found Saturday morning outside in Northern Virginia. No foul play is suspected and officials told CNN it appears to be a medical emergency.
The network mourned Stewart’s death via social media, sharing the news with a portion of a letter to employees from CNN CEO, Mark Thompson.
“Alice was a much-loved friend and colleague to all of us at CNN,” network CEO Mark Thompson said in an email to staff Saturday. “A political veteran and Emmy Award-winning journalist, she brought an incomparable spark to CNN.” ’s coverage, he is known in our bureau not only for his political savvy, but also for his unwavering kindness. Stewart’s CNN colleagues remembered him via social media.

Fellow CNN commentator and Stewart’s longtime friend, Dana Bash, took it X (formally known as Twitter) To remember your old friend.
He wrote, “Alice Stewart was a woman who brought intelligence and expertise as well as kindness and support.” “I met her in 2007 covering the Huckabee presidential campaign in Iowa and worked with her in politics before I called her a CNN colleague. I can’t believe she’s gone.”
Stewart’s career began in Georgia and Little Rock, Arkansas, where he covered local news. Stewart also served as communications director for Mike Huckabee, Michele Bachmann, Senator Rick Santorum, and Ted Cruz.
Stewart began working for CNN in 2016. Stewart also co-hosted the podcast left to right hot mic With Cardona.
