But the three remaining teams playing away games to start the season weren’t so lucky… as the Sky and Atlanta Dream boarded commercial jets for their games.
The league said it’s facing more problems than anticipated as it launches the charter program… and Reese is hopeful that’s the case, as he took to Instagram to share his thoughts.
“Just praying this is one of the last commercial flights taking off from the Chicago Sky…” the ex-LSU star said on his Story just minutes earlier… while also echoing his partner briana turnercomment on x
“As Breezy said, ‘Let’s practice gratitude and patience as charter flights begin for all teams in the league,'” Reese said.
Teams are on the fence about whether their next road game will come with charter flights … but the WNBA says it’s in the works.
