A real, close family – on and off screen! Several members of the film’s cast and crew young sheldon got together last week to watch Emotional series finaleAs a group, as co-stars Annie Potts’ Home.
The actress — who plays the Cooper family’s nanny Meemaw — took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video of the special night, which took place last week.
“The #YoungSheldon family gathered at Meemaw’s to watch the finale,” Potts captioned this lovely post. “Great job, everyone, and thank you to all of you who got involved.”
In the video, Potts wanders into the finale viewing party, and shares the moment with everyone who was able to attend — including Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Regan Revord, Matt Holby, Mary Grill and the cast and crew. Several other people from the crew were involved.
Notably absent from the festivities were Montana Jordan – who will play Georgie Cooper, and star in upcoming spin-off series, Georgie and Mandy’s first wedding,
On Tuesday, Jordan announced that he and his girlfriend Jenna Weeks welcomed their first child together – A daughter named Emma Rae Jordan.
During this, Iain Armitagewho played Sheldon Cooper, was unable to attend, but shared his love in the comments below Potts’ post.
“Looking fun Ms. Annie! Love you ❤️,” the 15-year-old comedian wrote.
Meanwhile, Revord, 16, commented on how special the experience was to watch the series finale with her TV family, commenting, “I didn’t want that night to end. I loved being with all of you. ❤️”
on Tuesday, ET spoke to Revord on the red carpet at the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s 49th Annual Gracie Awards in Beverly Hills, where she reflected on spending some time with her co-stars following production of the finale.
“We were wrapping, there were a lot of guest stars and… we pulled the couch off the set. There was this green couch that was in the living room — we pulled it off the set and I actually took a picture of all of us The post sat on it,” Revard recalled.
“We were just hanging out and we were sitting on the couch and it was so much fun,” she shared. “For about three hours, we were just hanging out and laughing, and it was great.”
The series finale aired last weekand late young sheldon is over, CBS announced a spinoff series, Georgie and MandYes first marriage, It is set to premiere in the autumn.
In this series, Jordan and emily osmentJo will reprise her role as Georgie’s wife, Mandy McAllister.
“I’m so happy for Montana and Emily! They deserve this, so much more,” Revord told ET. “They’re so talented and they’re some of my favorite people, and I’m so excited to see where the show goes.”
