Pyatt will travel to Houston from April 29 to May 1 for the 10th United States-Republic of Korea (ROK) Energy Security Dialogue (ESD) and events at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy. This dialogue will advance cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Korea on energy security and clean energy transition.

On April 29, Assistant Secretary Pyatt will join Rice University’s Baker Institute for a series of discussions with energy experts and senior U.S. officials, including Ambassador Kathleen Stephens, a Texas native who served as the 20th U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea. Additionally, officials will discuss urgently needed support for Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in the face of increased Russian attacks.
