Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink’s Travel to Hawaii and Australia – United States Department of State

Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel J. Krittenbrink will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii and Canberra, Australia May 2-8.

While in Honolulu, Assistant Secretary Krittenbrink will participate in a change of command ceremony for USINDOPACOM as Admiral Samuel J. Paparo will assume command from Admiral John C. Aquilino.

While in Canberra, Assistant Secretary Krittenbrink will meet with senior government officials and experts to deepen the U.S.-Australia alliance, discuss ongoing cooperation to address global challenges, and foster a peaceful, prosperous, and respectful Indo-Pacific region. Will carry forward joint efforts to promote. Sovereign rights of all countries.
