Assistant Secretary Stewart Travels to Singapore, Qatar – United States Department of State

Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability Mallory Stewart will travel to Singapore and Doha, Qatar, from May 29 to June 5.

In Singapore, Assistant Secretary Stewart will serve as a delegate to the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue: The 21st Asia Security Summit. The summit is Asia’s premier defense meeting to discuss the region’s most pressing security challenges.

In Doha, Assistant Secretary Stewart will participate in the Third Arab Forum on Arms Control, Disarmament, and Nonproliferation, co-hosted by the League of Arab States and the Qatari National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons. She will speak on a panel focused on regional and global disarmament trends.
