Professor Gaurav Agarwal, Head, Department of Endocrine and Breast Surgery, SGPGIMS, spoke on breast cancer awareness and early diagnosis among Indian women.

The issue of non-communicable diseases (hypertension and diabetes management) was discussed by Dr. Abhishek Kunwar, National Professional Officer (Non-Communicable Diseases), World Health Organization-India, Dr. Shailendra Kumar Singh, endocrinologist and Dr. VS Upadhyay, cardiologist and medicine specialist, Banaras Hindu University.

Dr Venu Gopal Jhanwar, Managing Director, Deva Institute of Healthcare and Research and Dr Upasana Arora, Chairperson, Healthcare Services, IACC spoke on mental health and medicine, covering issues such as women’s mental health, stress, anxiety, depression management. Dr S Kumar Singh, Orthopaedic, Joint Replacement and Spine Surgeon, Varanasi spoke on osteoporosis and called it a silent killer.
