One by one, news has emerged that all the young women have dropped “Pitt” from their last names. Now everyone will be known by their mother Angelina Jolie’s surname.

How did this happen? Yes, Brad’s relationship with his kids has been strained since the infamous 2016 plane crash.

And yes, the girls are almost all grown up now, and free to make their own decisions about their lives as they wish.

But are things really that bad between Brad Pitt’s daughters and their estranged father? The short answer? Yes.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children: 3 adopted, 3 biological. Of these children, they have three daughters: Zahara, 19, Shiloh18, and Vivienne, 15.

Zahra drops the surname ‘Pitt’ from her sorority

First of all, Brad Pitt’s eldest daughter dropped her father’s last name. None of her sisters did this, but the news created a lot of buzz when it came out.

She appeared in a video as a new member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority in November 2023. In the short clip, she introduces herself to the other girls at Spelman College, and utters from her lips the name she is using these days.

Vivienne drops Brad’s last name with Broadway debut

A few months later, Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet with her youngest daughter Vivienne for the premiere of the Broadway musical. Foreigner. At just 15 years old, Vivienne helped her mother produce the show based on the book/1980 hit movie.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt hires lawyer to change her name

This was the news that caught the world’s attention and what initially sparked the discussion.

On Monday, May 27, 2024, Shiloh’s 18th birthday, Brangelina’s first biological child hired a lawyer and filed documents change his name Legally.

So, what happens to Brad now? From this perspective, all of his children have left him.

And according to those closest to him, he’s feeling the sting of their rejection.
