Brave integrates its own search results with its Leo AI assistant | TechCrunch

Privacy-focused search engine and web browser company Brave Software Integrating search results into its Leo chatbot. Search results are based on Brave Quest API and LEO are integrated into the company BrowserThe company said that this integration will help users get more updated information.

People can use this integration to get information like the latest scores, get more context about a topic when reading an article, and find recent and relevant topics to create social media posts.

Brave emphasized that this integration is done with privacy in mind as the company does not require users to log in. Also, it does not store conversations with your AI chatbot on its servers. Brave said it does not use the responses to train its models. The company said it sends the request to an anonymization server first to hide the user’s identity.
