Carl Radke Says He Made the Right Decision with Lindsay Hubbard Split

carl radke is not questioning their decision to separate from lindsay hubbard,

At the end of Thursday’s episode Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenthe host asked summer house Star what he has learned looking back period leading up to His and Hubbard’s breakupWhich came a few months before their wedding.

“Number one, I made the right decision,” Radke said before wishing his former girlfriend well. “I think it’s for the better. She seems to be happy and moving on. I wish her the best. I hope he treats her well and she’s happy. That’s all I can ask for.” “

Earlier in the episode, Radke admitted that she “absolutely” should have been more clear about her needs in the relationship.

“I see myself eight, nine months removed from things differently. There are some things I wish I had been a little more assertive about. [on] Or really just made sure she knew I was serious about it,” he said. “I have a tendency sometimes to shy away from difficult conversations. I think you’re seeing some of that play out.”

As to why she didn’t speak out, Radke said, “I was afraid of hurting her. I’m a people pleaser, which is something I work on in my therapy and talk about. I do. With her, I didn’t want to hurt her by giving difficult information, even though I needed to be more open with her.”

“We had the safety of couples therapy, where we talked about a lot of different topics,” she continued, “but there were a lot of disagreements outside of couples therapy, obviously, that happened.”

As far as his biggest regret is how the split happened, Radke reiterated, “I think I could have been more direct with him about how I was feeling at times.”

He said, “I think I really went all-in on trying to get married. I wanted to get married. I wanted to have a family, but I think we were moving down the path too fast. Were staying.” “…I wanted to get married. We’ve been fighting for the last two weeks. I think people will see some more of that coming in these next few episodes.”

during his WWHL At the appearance last month, Hubbard said that, in hindsight, the split was for the best, though knowing this doesn’t make the disappointment any less disappointing.

“I think the road ahead for me will be very long and difficult,” he said. “But it’s complicated, isn’t it? I spent almost a whole year planning the wedding and doing so much planning and organizing for it. So it’s a little disappointing.”

When ET spoke to him in February, Hubbard accepted The summer of her split would be “hard to relive”, as it was shown on TV.

“I just have to keep reminding myself that I’ve already lived it,” she said. “That’s the past, and I have a lot going on in the present and the future – and the future is really bright for me.”
