Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has launched three important programmes Health Campaign In Rajasthan: The National Pulse Polio CampaignChief Minister Stop diarrhea campaign 2024, and Abha ID Creation Campaign,

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Chief Minister’s residence, in which Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar was also present.

On the occasion of the launch of the National Pulse Polio Campaign, Chief Minister Sharma administered the dose Polio medicine The campaign aims to protect around 1.07 crore children up to the age of five years across the state from polio.

Chief Minister’s Diarrhea Stop Campaign 2024 and Aabha ID Creation Campaign were launched. Ayushman Bharat Digital MissionIn this diarrhoea prevention campaign running from 1 July to 31 August, medical workers will go door-to-door to provide advice and medicines to prevent diarrhoea-related diseases in children.

Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) is an initiative of the National Health Authority (NHA). It is a health savings account launched under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), designed to provide financial assistance to economically weaker sections for their healthcare needs.

Each ABHA ID, which is linked to the citizen’s Aadhaar or mobile number, has a unique 14-digit identification number, which facilitates digital storage and access to all related health information, consultations, medical records and prescriptions.

The Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) guidelines, introduced in 2007 and updated from time to time with the latest update in 2022, set quality standards for public health facilities from primary to secondary level health care facilities.

These standards ensure consistent, accessible, and accountable health services across the country. All public health institutions are encouraged to conduct the assessment and make efforts to bridge the identified gaps.

To expedite the process and provide support to these health institutions, the Health Ministry has developed a dashboard that will help national, state and district health institutions and health facilities to quickly monitor compliance with IPHS standards and take action accordingly. (ANI)
