“Last week I met a guy who was a huge fan of mine and he got emotional and teary-eyed when he met me,” Gauff said. “It’s things and conversations like that that make you realize what you’re doing on the court matters, whether you’re having the best time of your life and winning everything or you’re having a low, bad moment and losing.”
