Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption Nephew’s Travel to Montenegro, Lithuania, and Albania – United States Department of State

Global Anti-Corruption Coordinator Richard Nephew will travel to Montenegro, Lithuania, and Albania June 16-21. His visit will underscore the ongoing U.S. commitment to fighting corruption, strengthening the rule of law, and addressing ongoing shared challenges in the Western Balkans.

On June 16-17, Coordinator Nephew will visit Podgorica, Montenegro, to meet with government officials and civil society representatives. His meetings will discuss Montenegro’s anti-corruption efforts, seek to identify areas of further cooperation, and emphasize U.S. support for ongoing efforts to combat corruption.

Coordinator Nephew will travel to Vilnius, Lithuania, on 18-19 June, where he will attend the opening session of the International Anti-Corruption Conference, as well as other official sessions. He will also meet with various government and civil society partners.

On 20 June, Coordinator Nephiu will travel to Tirana, Albania, where he will meet with government and civil society representatives. They will discuss ongoing work in the fight against corruption and areas for further cooperation and collaboration on anti-corruption efforts.
