Time flies when you’re slaying demons. It’s been almost a year since we first entered the sanctuary of Diablo IV and quite a bit has changed to the game and its mechanics since then. D4 got off to a good start and was a lot of fun to play, but it’s fair to say that the first few seasons didn’t quite achieve the mark, with the latest season following suit before – season 4It seems like Blizzard has finally turned the old action-RPG in the direction everyone wanted.
To celebrate the game’s first anniversary, Blizzard is holding a week-long March of the Goblins event, so let’s find out what it includes.
What is March of the Goblins?
March of the Goblins The event will begin on June 6 and run for a week until June 13 and will feature a much larger number of Treasure Goblins than we’ve seen in Sanctuary so far, running around with lots of stuff to loot – a sort of reverse birthday gift for players. Word on the streets of DIablo is that goblins can be found in pairs and potentially even in a large pack if you venture into dungeons. It’s time to fill your boots.
The number of Shrines of Greed will also increase, so if you aren’t rich by the end of it there’s something wrong with you.
The 10-day long Maternal Blessing will also be in effect, giving you the opportunity to earn XP and gold at increased rates.
If that wasn’t enough, free items will also be available to get from the Item Shop during the week-long March of the Goblins event.
Finally, if you’re a Diablo Immortal player on mobile, DI’s second anniversary is also being celebrated at the same time with the March of the Goblins event which runs for two weeks between June 6th and June 20th.
