DiddyVideotaped speaking his first words about beating How …saying he “takes full responsibility for his actions,” and claiming he has already gone to rehab.
He posted a video Sunday morning in which he looked directly into the camera, saying, “It’s very difficult to reflect on the darkest times of your life, but sometimes you have to do it. I was so upset. I mean , I hit rock bottom.”

He says he is making no excuses for his behavior – the brutal attack on his then-girlfriend Cassie in March 2016 while they were staying at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. Surveillance video obtained by CNN shows Diddy chase him down a hallway, grab him by the back of the neck and throw him to the ground.. where he kicked him and dragged him.
Diddy claims he “sought professional help” after the incident. He says, I had to go to therapy. Go to rehab. I had to ask God for His mercy and grace.”
He did not give any details about how long he was undergoing treatment.

He ended the video with an apology of sorts… “I’m so sorry, but I’m committed to being a better person every day. I’m not apologizing. I’m really sorry.”
Interestingly, he didn’t apologize directly to Cassie – and, therefore, this comes across more as an apology to the public than to the victim.
Remember, Cassie described the attack in the sexual harassment suit she filed against Diddy in November — a suit he settled just one day later.

At the time, Diddy’s attorney insisted that the agreement was in no way an admission of guilt, and Diddy himself later denied all allegations made against him in multiple lawsuits.
