Donald TrumpA famous private jet reportedly had a minor collision with a plane parked at a Florida airport over the weekend — and the Federal Aviation Administration is now investigating.
The former president’s Boeing 757 emblazoned with the name “Trump” landed at West Palm Beach International Airport early Sunday. As you probably know, Trump lives near his massive Mar-a-Lago estate.
The FAA says the plane was taxiing on the tarmac when its winglet – a small vertical fin on the wingtip, used to reduce aerodynamic drag – collided with a stationary corporate jet that was empty.
Although the FAA did not identify Trump’s plane by name, the agency did give some media outlets the tail number, N757AF, which is registered to one of Donald’s businesses – DJT Operations I LLC.
Whether Trump was on his jet at the time of impact is unknown, but he would have been fine in any case. It appears no injuries have been reported. As far as damage is concerned, the FAA did not say whether there was any damage to the planes.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Trump held a campaign rally in Wildwood, New Jersey.
