Fland is the 18th-ranked player and No. 2 combo guard in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite. Major programs such as North Carolina, Michigan and Alabama were competing for Fland’s commitment before he committed to Kentucky on October 20.

Fland is a McDonald’s All-American, averaging 19.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists as a senior at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York.
