New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will announce a fresh schedule for NEET-PG in the next two days. NEET-PG was among the exams cancelled last week as a precautionary measure amid a controversy over alleged irregularities in competitive exams.

“The date of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, postgraduate will be announced by the NBE in a day or two,” Pradhan told reporters in Panchkula on the sidelines of the Haryana BJP’s extended state executive meeting.

This comment of Pradhan came a day ago. National Testing Agency ,NTA) announced revised dates for the three cancelled exams.

University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) which was cancelled a day after it was scheduled to be held on June 18 after the Education Ministry received information that the sanctity of the exam had been compromised, will now be held from August 21 to September 4.

Pradhan had said that the question paper was leaked on the darknet and circulated on the Telegram app. The matter is being investigated. CBI,

UGC-NET is an examination to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, appointment of Assistant Professors and admission to PhD courses.

Breaking from the previous pattern, this year the exam was conducted in offline mode and on a single day. However, the rescheduled exam will be conducted as per the earlier pattern of Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be held over a fortnight.

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research The (CSIR) UGC-NET, which was postponed as a precautionary measure amid a controversy over alleged irregularities in the conduct of the exam, will now be held from July 25 to July 27.

CSIR UGC-NET PhDs in Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences are accepted for admission.

The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), which was postponed hours before it was scheduled to begin on June 12, will now be held on July 10.

This exam is conducted for selected central and state universities or institutes, including IITs, NITs, RIEs and government colleges.
