According to the notification, now the exam will be held on August 11 and it will be conducted in two shifts. Eligibility The last date to appear in the examination will remain 15th August only.

Last month, amid allegations of irregularities in the UG exam results, the ministry had issued a late night notification announcing the postponement of the exam, less than 12 hours before the scheduled time on June 23.

Calling it a “precautionary” measure, the Health Ministry and NBEMS had cancelled the exams to “assess the robustness of the exam and maintain the sanctity of the examination process”.
