Health secy Chandra satisfied with progress of AIIMS Guwahati – ET HealthWorld

Guwahati: Secretary, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Apoorva ChandraExpressed satisfaction over the ongoing work progress and initiatives of AIIMS Guwahati After site visit on Saturday.

He conducted a comprehensive review of the progress of AIIMS Guwahati, emphasizing the government’s commitment to improve health care infrastructure and in services North Eastern Region of India, an official release from the institute said.

About 98.63 percent construction work of AIIMS Guwahati has been completed.

Professor Ashok Puranik, Executive Director, AIIMS Guwahati, gave a comprehensive presentation on the progress of the institute in the areas of quality medical education, patient care and cutting-edge research. The meeting was attended by faculty members, officers, staff and students of the institute.

Chandra met with key stakeholders including institute officials, health care professionals and project managers (HITES and NCC) to assess the status of ongoing work and initiatives and formulate future strategies to enhance healthcare delivery in the region. Work done.
