Honeydew Boba is a sweet bubble tea recipe made with honeydew melon, matcha powder, milk, water, and boba pearls. It’s refreshing, delicious, and super easy to make at home!
I would lightly sweeten this honeydew boba recipe with a bit of raw honey, but this is optional since this drink is already naturally sweet from the fruit.

guidance
Prepare the Boba Pearls And let them cool down before use.
Cut the honeydew melon, removing the seeds and rind. You probably won’t need the whole melon for this recipe unless you’re making multiple servings, so keep leftover melon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for on-the-go snacking.
Combine honeydew melon pieces, milk, water, matcha powder, and honey (if using) in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Add boba pearls and ice to a glass. Then pour the honeydew mixture over the ice. Enjoy chilled.
Tips for making
- You’ll want to serve this, and any boba tea drinks, with Boba StrawsOtherwise, you cannot easily consume the tapioca pearls with your drink. A standard size draw is too small.
- Although matcha powder is an ingredient I always use in this recipe, you can omit it if you want to avoid caffeine or can’t find it.
- If you want to use cantaloupe or watermelon instead of honeydew melon, you can easily do so. Of course, this will change the color and flavor of this drink, but it will still be fruity and delicious.
