Shadows of Aardtree includes a whole range of new swords that look great and have powerful effects.

Where to find the Greatsword of Damnation in Shadows of the Aardtree?
To secure the Greatsword of Damnation, you must defeat a certain boss who is using it in battle.
The boss in question is Midra, the master of Frenzied Flames, but he takes a while to find.
We’ll be making the Abyssal Woods the starting point for this guide, but even getting there is a big task in itself, so keep that in mind before proceeding here.
If you’re in the Abyssal Woods, you’ll need to progress past the enemies you can’t kill, and instead, you’ll have to sneak to Midra’s Manse.
Starting from the first Point of Grace in Midra’s Manse, immediately turn left and continue through the confusing area until you can activate a lever.
Find the ladder nearby and climb up it when you get the chance. You’ll come out and be able to activate the next Site of Grace.
Go to the upper level of the area, turn around, and head downstairs. Look for an entrance and a set of stairs that you need to activate to proceed.
You can now go up across a book shelf to a wooden platform, where you can drop down once more.
Follow the path to the final Sight of Grace, and then the boss will wait for you in the next room.
After defeating Midra, Lord of Frenzid Flame, you will receive the Lord of Frenzid Flame memento. Now, head back to the Roundtable Hold and use it to rescue the Greatsword of Damnation.
