For PC owners who have been waiting over a year to get the exclusive Hogwarts Legacy content that originally came with the PlayStation version, the end is near.
New PC on June 6th Hogwarts Legacy The update will arrive and bring with it not only the Haunted Hogsmeade Quest but also a number of cosmetics as well as, finally, the new Photo Mode. You can now get all the awesome Hogwarts wallpapers you’ve always wanted.
However, we’re here for the quest now, and it’s not clear how you’d even start it, so let’s dive deeper and figure out how to finally get you going with this PC update.
What’s in Hogwarts Legacy’s summer update?
Apart from the new quests, which is what everyone wants, the update also adds a photo mode and some cosmetics. Here is a quick list of what you will get when you download it. It is free by the way, so you can make sure that your client gets it.

This potion is a nice addition and originally came as a pre-order bonus and when used, it reveals large loot chests without you having to wander around looking for them.
How to Start Haunted Hogsmeade
The first thing to do here is to search Hogwarts Legacy It’s actually called Mind Your Own Business and eventually after completing it you can run a shop in Hogsmeade since the shop itself is the reward. To get to that point, and then to get the 10% kickback on everything you sell you’ll need to go through the quest, which should still take less than an hour. It’s not a bad quest in itself, but PC owners didn’t really lose much. It’s good now though.
It must be winter in Hogsmeade to start the quest and it is activated when you complete the Third Keeper Trial. Once you have done that, head to Hoggers and Penny the House Elf via the quest marker on the map.
From there you’ll be sent to Cassandra Moon who wants to sell you the shop for $1,500. You don’t need that kind of cash though, so just play along and follow the instructions.
Cassandra wants you to go to the shop and retrieve her late husband’s belongings. Go back there and Penny will let you in. Use Ripario on the broken items and make your way to the back of the shop. Open the chest and climb down into the dungeon below.
Once you complete the dungeon, which isn’t too hard, you’ll be given the shop as a reward and you can visit it whenever you’re in Hogsmeade.
