Finding out you’re pregnant while high on psilocybin mushrooms sounds like a nightmare — but (spoiler alert!). Ilana Glazer puts a fun spin on the chaotic scenario in her new film, babes,

This is the worst trip I can take.” ,

“My travels have been bad, [but] Learn [you are pregnant] On mushrooms, it’s bad,” Glazer continued. “It was helpful that we were working on a broader ‘just go for it, just go crazy’ [vibe] Because going there seemed like madness.”

The “hard comedy” that comes with being pregnant also served as an inspiration for Glazer. “I can’t believe how slow you are and swollen and sick and the boobs are too,” she shared. “It was so fun for me and Josh, like that feeling of helplessness with your partner is growing a human being inside of you.”
