In-state LB Jason King chooses Mizzou

“I talked to Coach Drink, Coach DJ Smith and Maury,” King said. “We have been talking for a long time and I have a good relationship with all of them. I also like Mizzou because they will use me in their defense and be able to compete for a national championship for my state school while being at home.

King had offers from Kentucky, Iowa State, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Baylor, Boston College and elsewhere.

247Sports rates him a three-star prospect at No. 86. He is considered the No. 13 junior in Missouri.

King was an All-Metro selection as a junior after recording 90 tackles (15 for loss).

The Tigers now have six commitments in the 2025 class and all of them have been arriving since the beginning of April.
