Tokyo: Japanese drugmaker Christian is developing a dementia treatment that it aims to commercialize in the US by fiscal year 2030, Nikki This information was given on Sunday.
According to the Nikkei newspaper, the new drug targets a protein called tau, which causes the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.
Christian already has one Dementia medication Named Lecamby in the US market, co-developed with US counterpart Biogen,
The companies announced Friday that they would begin selling Lekambi in China, making it the third country after the United States and Japan where the treatment is available.
