Quinn walked the carpet at the New York premiere of his new science-fiction horror thriller. A Quiet Place: Day OneThursday at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater, and he spoke with ET’s Rachel Smith about the possibility of a surprise appearance. Stranger Things‘ Fifth and final season,
According to Quinn, “chances are high” that he’ll spend some time with his former castmates and the show’s producers in the future.
“I love those guys! I’d love to say hi to them,” Quinn said, possibly hinting at a possible involvement, and like a true professional, keeping his answer vague.
“I’m sure they’re working really hard to land the plane,” Quinn said of the show’s final season. “They’ve been working on it for a long time, so I’m really happy they’re getting to the end and they’re having a good time.
“I’m sure they’ll do it in a very, very good way,” Quinn said. “I have no doubt about it.”
When asked if he has any doubts about Eddie Munson’s return, especially since many fans feel it could happen, Quinn said, “I do.”
“Or maybe I don’t know,” he said, laughing. “I don’t know! Who knows?”
Though fans still have until next year for the next season of Stranger Things, Quinn’s upcoming spooky fest, A Quiet Place: Day Onewill see him Facing an invading alien army together Lupita Nyong’o And Djimon Hounsou,
It is the third film in the franchise, and a prequel to the original 2018 film a quiet placeoperated by pig Director Michael Sarnoski in his second feature film.
Quinn plays Eric, a businessman who teams up with a young woman named Sam (Nyong’o) and her cat Frodo, and lives in the midst of a deadly invasion of monstrous aliens who hunt by sound and echo.
For Nyong’o, playing the role was more challenging than she had expected. As the actress told ET earlier this week“I had to get over my fear of cats to make this film.”
“I was terrified of cats before I made this movie. That’s actually why I was hesitant about whether or not to take the role, because I was terrified of cats,” she admitted. “I had to get over my fear of cats before I started this movie. But they were fantastic.”
Quinn reflected on her experiences of overcoming fears to take on roles, stating, “I think in every job there are certain fears you have to get over. I think you’re going into an environment that you don’t really know.”
“But I’ve never had a big problem like Lupita,” he added. “Her fear was very dramatic. She went through a lot of therapy and now look where she’s gotten to! She’s now obsessed with cats.”
Fans can see Queen and Nyong’o facing an alien invasion in the Big Apple. A Quiet Place: Day One Will be released in theatres on 28th June.
