John Legend and his wife, chrissy teigenwere in attendance at the pop star’s New York City show, cheering J.T. on from the audience and dancing to his hits.
Teigen, 38, danced with Legend, 45, while wearing a “Justin” trucker hat in a video on her Instagram Story.
At one point during the show, Timberlake came out into the audience and announced, “John Legend is in the house, y’all,” and he embraced Legend while the crowd cheered.
An eyewitness tells ET that at one point during the show, Timberlake told the crowd that he had a lot of friends and family in the audience, and gave a special thanks to his “friend” Legend.
Timberlake also helped a woman announce her pregnancy to her family and friends. Her husband was at home with their baby, and he held up a sign asking the “Cry Me a River” singer to share the pregnancy news. The former NSYNC star jokingly scolded a woman Maurya-“Tell him I say congratulations, ‘You’re a father!'” he announced in an inspired voice.

A Sag Harbor Police Department spokesperson previously told ET that police spotted Timberlake driving a 2025 gray BMW southbound on Madison Street at approximately 12:37 a.m. on June 18. Police say he failed to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failed to stay in his lane.
The statement further said, “A police officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department initiated a traffic stop and upon investigation determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle while intoxicated.” Noting that Timberlake failed to obey multiple stop signs, police said Timberlake was then stopped.
“Upon contacting [Timberlake] It was ascertained that [he] “He was driving while impaired, his eyes were red and glassy, his breath smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage, he was unable to concentrate, his speech was slurred, he was unsteady on his feet, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” police said in a statement.
Timberlake claimed he had “one martini”, which was later Confirmed by the bartender who served him.
June 19, a source told ET“Justin feels remorseful, ashamed and humiliated, but also accountable.”
According to the source, Timberlake “does not believe he needs help with alcohol,” but instead views the incident as a “huge lapse of judgment.”
