Justin Timberlake He’s moving on after he was Arrested and charged with DWI earlier this week. A source tells ET that the 43-year-old “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer is “feeling remorseful, ashamed and humiliated.”
However, J.T. is also feeling “responsible.” According to the source, Timberlake “doesn’t believe he needs help with alcohol,” instead seeing the incident as a “huge lapse of judgment.”
“This situation has taken a toll on them, but they are trying to look at it as a way to reinvent themselves,” the source said. “They do their best to set a positive example for themselves, [Jessica Biel]”For the sake of his family and the public, and will continue to try to learn and grow. He is taking this seriously and recognizes how it may impact his family dynamic as a husband and father, and also his fans.”
Meanwhile, Timberlake and Biel have remained together following the incident.
“Justin and Jess are so grateful that no one was hurt and that everyone is okay and safe,” the source added. “Jess is obviously feeling disappointed, but she stands by Justin. She recognizes that Justin and all of us are human and make mistakes.”
Timberlake was arrested in the Hamptons just after midnight on Tuesday and charged with driving under the influence. He was arraigned at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court in Sag Harbor, New York, just hours later. The NSYNC singer is due to appear in court again next month.

His defense attorney, Edward Burke Jr., said in a statement to ET, “I look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake on these charges. I will have more to say at the appropriate time, but right now I am awaiting full details from the District Attorney’s office.”
