Justin Timberlake Kicked off their new tour this week – and their platform is already the talk of the town… ‘Cause it violates the laws of physics Newton worked so hard to confirm!
JT debuted an amazing set design on Monday for the first show of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour — which officially kicked off at the inaugural stop in Vancouver, BC… using a giant floating stage for his performance at Rogers Arena. Mesmerized the crowd with it. Mirror.”
Check it out… Justin is strapped into a safety harness as the elevated stage rocks back and forth – allowing concertgoers to take it in from different angles and vantage points.
The ending of this particular number was equally impressive… as the singer was filmed walking backwards while turning the stage into an upright position. Apparently, JT is not afraid of heights!!!
The elevated set was used on more than one occasion during the show… as Justin’s face was projected on stage during the performance of “SexyBack”, setting a futuristic tone for the tour.
The singer has certainly pulled out all the stops for this world tour… and yes, if you feel like you’ve seen something like this before in a musical setting – your eyes are not deceiving you.

Of course, the one artist that came to mind for this floating platform was none other than Kanye West — who famously implemented a similar design while touring years earlier.
Granted, Justin’s stage is a little more impressive… because it shakes and turns a helluva lot – something that definitely freaked out the audience who got to see it for the first time.
As you know… Justin is touring now after releasing his latest album, and it will go on until the end of the year. We heard there’s a lot interest from promoters *NSYNC to do a tour together… but that probably won’t happen until JT is done with this current thing.
Based on how good their show looks on its own – you can only imagine what they’ll probably do with all the other people… if anything it’s only whetting people’s appetite for boy bands. Is.
Anyway… we’ll see how JT does on tour – so far so good, and the place looks packed!
