The actress wrote, “πŸ’™ Blue πŸ’™ I’m so crying over losing this beautiful creature. We had to put down three dogs last year and it made me think… I’m crying for @tommypelphrey … his relationship with Blue was so special. They were like a duo. Traveling all over the country as a team… going from job to job and then coming back to California where we all settled down as a family!”

“Honestly, my first year with Blue was very difficult. He didn’t love me the way he loved Tom. I had never experienced that before. All dogs love me! I could tell he was wondering why I was still here? Tom was his, and he didn’t want to share. Then I finally understood because I felt the same way about Tom. My love for him is so deep that sometimes I didn’t want to share him with the world. After a while Blue finally realized that we were a family and we were all living together. Something changed. He was amazing. Protective of me and the rest of our puppy crew, always on guard. I felt very safe alone at home with him and when anyone came to the door I would leash Blue and make him sit next to me. No one dared to mess with us!” she added.

Cuoco’s message came with a photo dump filled with pictures of Blue, a German Shepherd, with her and Pelphrey, and solo shots looking out at the mountains. “Matilda came and Bluey softened up just like the rest of us. He was very gentle and kind with her. She was very infatuated with one of his squeaky toys, always stealing it from him. He would wait patiently until she dropped it, then pick it back up for himself and walk away quietly,” she wrote. “He was the quiet mascot of our house but Tom was and will always be her only one. They saved each other. I think that hit home because I felt their relationship was so similar to mine and Norman’s. I know that love and pain and many people have felt it too! We are so lucky to be loved by animals. They are gifts from above and we are given the honor of treasuring them on this earth. To be their voice. To teach our children how to treat them and how to love them.”

CoCo ended her message with a final thank you to Blue.

“Blue, it was an honor to be your second favorite person on earth. I can’t wait for you to meet Norman, Sasha, Kingy, and the Dumps. Oh, what adventures you’ll have! πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™,” she wrote.
