Lauryn Hill never married. But at the peak of her fame she was involved in two very serious relationships.
First, she connected with her Fugees bandmate Wyclef Jean.
The relationship continued after Wyclef’s marriage to Marie Claudinet in 1994.
“I was married and Lauryn and I were having an affair. But she tricked me into believing the baby was mine, and I couldn’t forgive that,” Wyclef later wrote in his memoirs,
