Special Envoy Jessica Stern will travel to The Hague, Netherlands and Paris, France from 13-19 May to advance the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons. Special Envoy to attend Stern 11 on May 14th Annual European IDAHOT+ Forum in The Hague. Organized by the Council of Europe (CoE), the Forum brings together European policy makers, activists and civil society organizations to assess collective progress, achievements and challenges in protecting the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons in Europe and around the world. At the Forum, Special Envoy Stern will participate in an expert dialogue on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics. She will also intervene in the ministerial meeting of the Forum and meet representatives of CoE member states.
On May 16, Special Envoy Stern will travel to Paris, France to meet with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
