logan paul is taking legal action against the popular youtuber Coffeezilla … He claims the internet investigator is deliberately spreading lies to tarnish his reputation.
The documents were filed Thursday … in which the WWE superstar is suing Coffeezilla (real name). Stephen Findeison – and his production company have been accused of defamation for their deep involvement in Paul’s failed Cryptozoo project.
If you haven’t seen it yet, Coffeezilla has released multiple videos on the results of the blockchain game over the past two years … calling the whole thing a “scam” — and pointing the finger at Paul, claiming he intentionally duped his fans into taking their hard-earned cash so he could keep it for himself.
Paul claims that despite having access to the text exchange, Coffeezilla has continued to release false information for effect … using his name to drive more clicks and attention to his channel for financial gain.
In fact, Paul notes that Coffeezilla launched a subscription-based Patreon account right after his first video targeting CryptoZoo… and called on his audience to pay for even more content. Paul believes this shows that Coffeezilla knew how much attention he would get for calling the project a scam… and saw it as a huge payoff.
Paul has made everything clear in the lawsuit… the text material he provided proves that he had the best of intentions during the development of the project – and in addition to the gameplay experience, he claims he only trusted the consultants Eddie Ibanez and “Crypto King” Jake Greenbaum To bring the rest of the people together.
In the messages, Paul repeatedly made it clear that he didn’t want to jeopardize the integrity of the game… and that he envisioned a legitimate, entertaining experience for users.
When things went awry and the project failed to live up to expectations, Paul expressed his disappointment and said he was being misled in messages sent to his team… He promised to hold all those responsible accountable.
Paul says that ultimately Ibanez and Greenbaum thwarted his dreams of becoming rich… and deceived him throughout the entire development process.
In the documents, Paul says Coffeezilla was well aware it wouldn’t make any profit from the project — in fact, it actually lost millions in the process.
He also claims that he had his plan to give users their money back devised long before Coffeezilla released their in-depth analysis into Cryptozoo… and to date, he says he’s given hundreds of NFT buyers over $1 million of their money back.
Paul’s goal is to clear the “scammer” stain on him through a lawsuit … and he’s hopeful that going through the justice system will produce that outcome.
He is seeking unspecified damages.
