Mesa survey on dining, entertainment wish list open through April 30; Surprise shares its results

Mesa is trying a new strategy to attract retail. it has one Online survey available till 30th April For residents to share opinions about the current retail landscape, including restaurants, shops and entertainment.

The bilingual survey asks people to rank their top three dining priorities — everything from fine dining, to pet-friendly food trucks. The city also wants to know what types of businesses residents visit Mesa for.

The results will help the city’s economic development department create a retail attraction strategy.

“Shopping and dining in Mesa reduces driving time and keeps sales tax dollars in our communities, where those dollars go,” Jay O’Donnell, Mesa’s economic development director, said in a prepared statement. “fund the vital services our residents use every day.”

Surprising Stock Survey Results

Surprise has been conducting similar surveys for a few years. The city says this has helped convince some businesses that there is demand for their products and services. On April 15, Surprise released its latest results. Contains over 5,000 responses.
