“I think I’ll always keep evolving because I love fashion and trends, and trying new things,” she shared. “I’ve always been like that and, for me, that’s why fashion is fun. So I hope I’ll always keep surprising people.”
On Monday, Kaling celebrated her 45th birthday by seeing her newborn daughter for the first time.
“At the end of February I gave birth to my daughter, Annie. She is the best birthday gift I could have ever imagined,” Kaling captioned this stack of photos. “When things get tough, when I’m veering toward pessimism, my three kids are a great reminder of the pure joy in my life. I’m so lucky to live in a place where I can do all of this on my own, on my own timeline. Thank you for the birthday wishes!”
