Nick Jonas is making its return to the Great White Way!
Jonas Brothers set to return to star on Broadway The last five yearsThe two-person show will also star Tony Award-winning actress Adrienne Warren alongside the “Lovebug” singer. The production, scheduled for spring 2025, will be the first Broadway run of the show, which is written by Jason Robert Brown.
Whitney White will direct this new production. Brown has also written new music for the project.
The synopsis of the play via the press release states, “The Last Five Years is the story of two New Yorkers, rising writer Jamie (Jonas) and aspiring actress Kathy (Warren), who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. With an ‘extraordinary and hilarious’ (Chicago Tribune) score, the musical explores whether a couple, once united by their dreams, can stay connected even when their paths diverge.”
Jonas and Warren celebrated the news on their respective Instagram accounts, with the show’s first official post on social media.
