The ‘Price is Right’ contestant is almost ready Drew Carey‘s head exploded — because one of his bids came within a dollar of the actual price … and now, he’s telling us how he did it.
Patrice Maas On Friday’s show, he bid $39,500 for a prize package worth $39,501 – and his nearly accurate guess made him the Double Showcase winner – with a total prize pool of $83,068. Previous players have guessed within a few dollars – but never this close… this is a first.

DC was stunned while the PM and his wife were going crazy with joy over his major score… which included a new Kia K5 GT-Line, luxury trips and designer apparel. Soon after his spectacular performance… Massey spoke to us and revealed how he arrived at the right number.

Patrice says she tried to do some quick math in her head about what the high-end loot and trip might cost, and she made her guess … and based on Drew’s reaction she was immediately convinced that what she guessed was wrong.
When a stunned DC announced that not only did the man win, but he made history… the PM told us he was overcome with excitement for a few minutes. It’s understandable, TBH.
Friday’s episode of the iconic CBS show was filmed in April … so the man and his wife have had to hide their major secret this whole time. Plus, because he didn’t officially win until Friday, he can only claim his prizes now.
