Reports of NEET-UG question paper leak baseless, every single paper has been accounted for: NTA – ET HealthWorld

New Delhi: The reports Claim of question paper leak in medical entrance exam NEET-UG is “completely false” baseless and without any basis”, National Testing Agency (NTA) clarified on Monday. Emphasizing that each question paper has been “accounted for”, the NTA said the purported images of the question paper circulated on social media have no connection with the actual paper.

“The security protocols and standard operating procedures of NTA have revealed that the social media posts pointing towards any paper leak are completely baseless and without any basis.

“To put an end to the rumours, it has also been said that an accounting of each and every question paper has been maintained,” he said. Sadhna ParasharSenior Director, NTA.

Parashar said that after the commencement of the examination, no outside person or agency will be able to reach the centres.

He said that after the gates of the examination centers are closed, no one from outside is allowed to enter inside the halls, which are under CCTV surveillance.

“All other pictures of question papers circulated on social media have no connection with the actual exam question paper,” he said.

The entrance exam was conducted on Sunday at 4,750 centers in 571 cities, including 14 cities abroad.

NTA had claimed on Sunday that due to wrong question paper being distributed at an examination center in Rajasthan, some candidates walked out with the paper. The agency had denied that the question paper was leaked.

“The integrity of the examination process was not compromised. The examination was later re-conducted for 120 affected candidates at the centre,” Parashar had said on Sunday.
