RHONJ’s Jenn Fessler Says Chat With John Fuda Left Her Wanting Space

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jane Fessler She is sharing more details about her breakup with her co-star Rachel Fuda,

in an exclusive interview our weekly On Monday, June 5, Jen, 55, recalled an off-camera conversation with Rachel’s husband, John FudaDue to which many kinds of emotions arose in him.

“If I’m being really honest, there were some things that happened between us before filming. And then things got a little difficult for me at BravoCon, and John and I had a discussion that I wasn’t very comfortable with,” Jen explained We“Sometimes it takes me a while to figure things out, but once I do, I’m like, ‘Wait a minute. I need some space.'”

While Jen’s friendship with Rachel, 33, has been strong since they first joined Ronj During season 13 in 2023, things slowly started changing. Viewers will get to see a different dynamic in season 14, now airing on Bravo,

“It was great at the beginning, but it doesn’t feel authentic to me anymore,” Jen explained. “I think at one point Rachel said, I heard her say she took a break. I took a break. We all took a break. So that’s kind of where we are now.”

The reality stars haven’t had any substantial conversation in nearly five months. But before fans assume that Jen is feeling anger toward her costar, she says it’s the opposite. The whole situation upsets her.

“I think it’s sad when you care about people and they care about you, and then all of a sudden, you stop speaking,” she said. “Of course it’s sad, but I don’t feel angry. I think Rachel and John might be angry at me. I’m not angry at them. I’m more sad than angry.”

While fans will have to wait to see what happens between them so they can see more of the dynamic play out, Jen assured viewers that nothing “ground-breaking” happened between them and joked, “There’s no animosity.” However, reality TV can complicate things.

“She’s a wonderful woman and she’s a wonderful mother and all that,” Jen said. “But there were things that, I think for both of us, she didn’t know about me and I didn’t know about her before we got into a situation like this.”

Last month, Rachel sat down with We and shared his perspective on his situation with Jane. At the time, he expressed hope that their relationship could improve over time.

“I don’t wish bad things for him,” she said. “I’m just very disappointed, a little bit angry – a little bit too much – and I think we can get to a good place, but things will never be the same and I think that’s what bothers me is that I can never allow that to happen at that stage in my life.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo, while old episodes are now streaming on Peacock.
