Marciano had been with ABC News since 2014, taking over a role on the program’s widely watched morning show that was previously occupied by Ginger Zee… who now appears on the franchise during weekday programming. Is.

Before his official departure, the broadcaster was temporarily banned from the network studios in New York City – reportedly due to inappropriate behavior.

However, he continued to report weather Outside place.

An insider told Page Six in March 2023, “He was found doing something… that was inappropriate, but he was punished for it, and they still didn’t let him come back.”

At the time, the same outlet claimed that Marciano was dealing with “anger” issues as they filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage.

“He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period when there were some issues, many worrying incidents,” a second source said last year.

After his divorce filing became public, Marciano said the following:

“The last few years have been very difficult. I didn’t want this and I tried to save the marriage, but sadly we are getting divorced. My focus now is on my children.”

Marciano previously worked as an anchor for Entertainment Tonight and as a meteorologist and anchor for CNN.

Before taking on those programs, he worked at local TV and radio stations including KATU in Portland, Oregon, KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and WVIT in West Hartford, Connecticut.

In September 2023, Marciano celebrated the start of his 10th year with the network, writing via Instagram:

“I couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey with all of you.”

“My thanks to the bosses who listened to me and made this work-life balance possible. I’m also grateful for an exciting new project with NatGeo that has given me the opportunity to explore some really cool things… and there’s more to come!”

Sadly, maybe.

But it won’t come in the form of an ABC employee.
