Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 may face a massive price hike

Flip6: Blue, mint, silver shade, and yellow.
Fold6: Navy, pink, and silver shades.

Additionally, both models will be available exclusively online in white and black, with the Flip 6 also getting a peach color option.

What features will the Galaxy Z Fold 6 have?

Like last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come in three options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. However, this year sees a price change, which unfortunately does not reflect last year’s figures. In the US, the 256GB model is reportedly priced at $1899.99. The 512GB version is available for $2019.99, while the largest capacity, 1TB model will cost $2259.99.

The new foldable phone will also be available in navy, silver shadow and pink colours. It is lighter at 239 grams as compared to 253 grams of its previous model. It will also have a 7.6-inch display.

Since its price is expected to increase by $100 across all variants, it is believed that this increase will impact the price of the foldable globally, including places like India where foldables are priced the highest.

A similar £100 hike could be expected in the U.K., bringing the 256GB model to £1,149 and the 512GB model to £1,249. Similarly, in Australia, the 256GB model could be priced at AU$1,799 and the 512GB model at AU$1,999.

It is worth noting that the previous models, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, were available in colours such as Cream, Icy Blue, Phantom Black, Graphite, Lavender, and Mint.

It is rumored that the Z Fold 6 Ultra is in development and could be released later this year. A recent leak revealed the full range of foldable models to be released this year, including detailed specifications for each model.
