Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will deliver remarks to launch the U.S. Department of State-YouTube Global Music Partnership as part of the Global Music Diplomacy initiative on Monday, June 24 at 4:30 p.m. at the Department of State. His remarks will outline the global scope of the Department’s partnership with YouTube to advance the United States’ enhanced commitment to using music to promote peace and democracy, as well as announce a new list of U.S. Global Music Ambassadors.
The Secretary’s remarks will be livestreamed on State.gov and youtube.com/StateDept and are open to pre-registered writers and still photographers. Video cameras will be made available for the Secretary’s remarks and announcement. Media wishing to cover in person must RSVP to [email protected] by 9:00 a.m. on June 21, 2024.
