Foreign Minister Antony J. Blinken today met with Senior UN Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza Sigrid Kaag in Amman, Jordan. Secretary Blinken and Coordinator Kaag discussed ongoing efforts and shared commitment to increase critical humanitarian assistance to Gaza and to ensure that the recent increase in aid deliveries is accelerated and sustained. The Secretary expressed strong support to the Senior Coordinator for his mandate to improve humanitarian relief to Congo and Gaza.
