Secretary Blinken’s Trip to San Francisco for RSA Conference and Guatemala for the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection Ministerial – United States Department of State

Foreign Minister Antony J. Blinken will travel to San Francisco, California, and Guatemala for the RSA conference on May 6, where he will lead the U.S. delegation to the third ministerial meeting of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection on May 7.

While in San Francisco he will interact with technology industry stakeholders and emerging technology experts in the areas of biotechnology and quantum information science and technology at the RSA Conference (RSAC). He is committed to promoting a more inclusive, secure, prosperous, rights-respecting, secure, and just world through the United States’ positive and proactive vision for key technology areas, including cybersecurity, digital, AI, quantum, and biotechnology. Will give details of efforts.

In Guatemala, Secretary Blinken will outline our progress over the past two years and look forward to the next joint steps to advance humanitarian migration management and stronger enforcement, legitimate pathways and access to protection, and refugee and migrant integration into the United States.

The Secretary will meet with President Bernardo Arévalo and other leaders from the Western Hemisphere to discuss building a more secure and prosperous hemisphere.
