Director of the Regional Center of India Meteorological Department (IMD) In Jaipur, Radhey Shyam Sharma said the western part of the state will face a fresh wave of heat wave for at least a week.

He also said that heat wave will continue in eastern Rajasthan till May 17.

Yesterday, the highest temperature of 44.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sri Ganganagar in western Rajasthan.
