He, due to his grief, had to cancel his appearance at the upcoming festival.
Mad Monster Party is a horror and science fiction convention in Phoenix, Arizona. Previously, it cost Osbourne $666 to attend a meet-and-greet there.
Some members of the Osbourne family will still be there. Well, just one – 38-year-old Jack Osbourne.
However, at the moment Ozzy Osbourne cannot fly. This is a medical recommendation.
As a result, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne have refused to appear in front of the family. Still, Sharon is doing her best to insist that Jack will still be there until she explains the change in plans.

They announced, “Unfortunately, the Osbourne family is having to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix, as Ozzy is unable to travel at this time.”
Sharon insisted: “Jack will be there flying the flag for the Osbourne family though.”
On a more practical note, he added: “Everyone who bought the Osbourne package will definitely get a full refund.”
“We want to thank you all for your continued support with Ozzy,” Sharon Osbourne said amid her husband’s health concerns.
He stressed: “It means so much to him, you have no idea.”
Sharon reiterated: “All I can say is that we won’t be there and I sincerely apologise to those we have let down. So, God bless you all. Thank you very much.”
What is the reason behind Ozzy Osbourne’s health concern?
Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019. He made this health news public in 2020.
Parkinson’s is a long-term neurodegenerative disease and can manifest differently in different patients. Ozzy suffers from nerve pain, depression, and dangerous blood clots.
In 2023, Ozzy underwent surgery – one of a series of surgeries he underwent after falling in the bathroom in 2019. This injury (which caused complications stemming from the 2003 injury) severely hampered his mobility.
As Sharon emphasized in her post on Twitter, Ozzy Osbourne clearly appreciates that fans worry about his health and care about his well-being.
It’s easy to assume that longtime celebrities take these things lightly. And, at his age, many can’t blame Ozzy for just saying, “Sorry I can’t come, bye.”
